to apply?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Target audience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Displaced persons who were not able to go to university in their country of origin (having only a high school diploma) or who had their studies disrupted.<\/li>\n<li>Those who have graduated (with Bachelor or Master level) who need to acquire a high level of French in order to practice their profession, take competitive and non-competitive examinations or to partially adjust their professional profile in order to access the French job market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Status of the candidates: refugees, people under subsidiary or temporary protection, asylum seekers.<\/li>\n<li>Situation: living for less than 5 years in France (&#8220;newcomer&#8221;) and living in Burgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9 region at the time of application.<\/li>\n<li>Required language level: the candidates must currently be acquiring a minimum level of <a href=\"https:\/\/rm.coe.int\/CoERMPublicCommonSearchServices\/DisplayDCTMContent?documentId=090000168045bb52\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A2<\/a> in French.<\/li>\n<li>Education requirement of candidates: have at least a secondary school diploma (Baccalaureate or foreign equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Age: must be under 45.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This study programme is not suitable for people from French-speaking countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Admission procedure<\/h3>\n<div class=\"jwts_toggleContent\">\n<div class=\"jwts_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Fill in <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ube.fr\/du-etudiants-en-exil\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/137\/2026\/02\/PI-dossier-candidature-application-form-fle.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this application form<\/a> and send it by Email to <span id=\"cloak59f8d46681edae88a311ce615312e9bf\"><a href=\"mailto:du.passerelle.etu.exil@ube.fr\" rel=\"\">du.passerelle.etu.exil@ube.fr<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<strong>between March 9 and May 8, 2026<\/strong> if you want to apply for 2026\/2027 academic year. <em>If you have already sent your application during the year you must update your application by sending us the file for the 2026\/2027 academic year.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>If your application is preselected you will take the French test.<\/li>\n<li>If you pass the French test you will be invited to an interview.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive the final answer after the interview.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Calendar<\/h3>\n<table and fees of the programme<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates accepted into the DU <em>Passerelle<\/em> programme will carry out their administrative registration through the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at Universit\u00e9 Bourgogne Europe and will be exempt from enrolment fees.<\/p>\n<h3>Important information about grants and accommodation<\/h3>\n<p>To apply for a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">grant<\/span><\/strong> for the 2026\/2027 academic year, you must have your 2025 tax notice.<\/p>\n<p>You can download it from your personal space on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.impots.gouv.fr\/accueil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">French State public finance website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not have one, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>go to the Public Finance Centre in Dijon, 25 rue de la Boudronn\u00e9e \u2013 you can come without an appointment on the mornings,<\/li>\n<li>contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.impots.gouv.fr\/contacts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tax Office<\/a> as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you wish to apply for <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">student accommodation<\/span><\/strong> or a Crous grant based on social criteria, you must complete a <em><a href=\"https:\/\/messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dossier Social Etudiant<\/a> (DSE)<\/em> and indicate <em>DU Passerelle<\/em> as your first preference.<\/p>\n<p>To indicate the <em>DU Passerelle<\/em> in your wishes, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>select the department of C\u00f4te-d&#8217;Or (21),<\/li>\n<li>then <em>UFR Lettres et Philosophie<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li>then in the following list <em>Dipl\u00f4me universitaire<\/em> (under the <em>DU Passerelle
